One Act of Two. (Intended Samhaine vs. Anshin)

Samhaine:

-The need for violence lately from Samhaine Bartholomew Grain had been at an all time low. To put it bluntly; everything was coming up 'Milhouse'. Love was love and it was swell, despite the lover and lovee being seperate, plans were plans and in constant motion and great...but also the reason why he was here. Truth be told, Samhaine was expecting to leave the lands for, if not a long while, then just a while, and well, he had a to-do list before that happened. Most of those consisted of handing out free 'favors', namely to friends and associates, and finding one such friend and getting fucked up for one last time. The other thing on his to-do list, was have one 'final' spat upon the 'beloved' Arena grounds. Garbed in a dark blue hoodie, blue jeans, and a pair of white sneakers, the scoundrel politely pushed through whatever crowd was there and suddenly at one point vaulted into the sandy pits of the Arena, landing on the flats of his feet without a sinch.

Sunken in green eyes turned this way and that, a surprisingly clean (and hairless, beard was shaved) and rather pale fleshed head turned on occasion as well as hands rested within the front pockets of his hoodie and he 'Tched' for no good reason at all. The usual completely black colored snake with red eyes was coiled about his right arm, but only for a moment as it seemed to 'sink' into the mentioned arm and 'vanished' on its own whim. Suddenly those green colored eyes seem to have a slight yellowish hue to them and the second Samhaine raised his arm from one of his hoodies pockets, one could see claws that were still growing/developing at the end. These claws were used in a unceremonious fashion to pick rather sharp looking mini 'shark teeth' currently forming in his mouth and...that was that.

The usual fashion of fight for Samhaine was in play. Free for all, anything goes, if one thing is preferred say so before outright trying to maul someone, and with a crowd or not crowd, Samhaine patiently waited upon the center of the Arena.-

(...So should I take that challenge as a no, then?)

(...So I guess I am turning this from a challenge into an open challenge to anyone who wants one. Anyone who wants a free for all spat, just...feel free to post or somethin', I guess.)

Anshin was popular. She wasn’t used to that and like the socially awkward teenage girl who steals the prom crown at the end of the movie it made her feel dirty.

Well maybe popular wasn’t the word for it and Anshin had never gone to prom or been a teenager. Heck she wasn’t even a she in anything other than the most subjective sense of the word. But as she had been informed upon entering the Nexus someone was waiting for her in the Arena. Something about the name told her that they weren’t looking to go on a date. Or maybe they knew who they were looking for and had invited her on the only date she was inclined to respond to.

Either way Anshin wasn’t used to being in demand.

Anshin, for the record, was not the cute young thing that walked in through the gilded doors of the Arena and sat in the stands, observing the lonely fighter identified by the locals as Samhaine with a curious smirk on her face. She was not five feet six inches tall with a body blossoming into womanhood; with short cut slightly curled red hair and a pair of fierce emerald eyes. Clothes like the black fur-collared jacket with its sleeves rolled up didn’t suit Anshin nor did the slinky yellow dress she wore under that, the tight black pants, or the leather boots.

Anshin was that horrible glint in her eyes. The superhuman intellect that spied the Arena the same way a hungry tourist did a buffet line. She was the horrible thing flowing through the young Heterodyne heirs veins, that synched itself up with her thoughts and had seduced her into surrendering her body, and now controlled everything from how she talked to the timing of her blinking. Anshin was an awful repugnant creature-a parasite with a mind- and she reveled in it like a pig amongst the slop and nobody in their right mind would have invited her anywhere.

But Samhaine had.

Apparently? And apparently he had waited long enough or so she had decided. Anshin rose to her feet as Samhaine began to scan the horizon for a new challenger to sate his battle lust and she leapt the railing in a single bound. She met the soft sandy floor with a slight bending of her knees and then with a sashay of her hips she began to approach the man. Anshin’s right hand drifted to her hip, freeing something from the overlarge black belt that kept her yellow dress clung so tightly to her waist, and it looked to be a cylinder no bigger than a foot in length. She sauntered towards him at a lazy pace and she said in a voice not quite right in the way it focused on certain syllables and words for emphasis.

“One question before we begin. Who are you and why do you want to fight me?”
