Sanctum Woodlands

Post by Galvery on Tue Jul 14, 2015 4:45 pm

An ocean of forest laid beneath the ship as it made its journey, which then Malice would land said ship amongst the trees in a clearing just large enough to encompass the vessel. The hatch would release that air tight suction, normalizing pressure and then open. Galvery would wait for the others to leave before he does and when his feet his earthen ground more familiar to him he lets out an exasperating sigh. Falling backwards on his dorsal he'd let out a tiresome laugh and say, "By the gods we survived and for now we're safe." After a moment or two he'd roll to his feet, looking around a moment he rolls his shoulders as his all ready exhausted mind and body focus. Once again his extraterrestrial 'sight' kicks in and he expands his mental capacity to try, trying to locate an abundance of life nearby in hopes it be a village of some kind.

He hits jackpot as he senses a cluster of presences not but some twenty miles or so north, moving further away from the City-Market. Lofting a hand he says, "There's a village just that way maybe two hour walking distance." Diverting his now opened hunter-green hues to his companions he adds, "That's a long walk, but I don't think the ship has it in her to go much further with only those gauntlets powering it." Scratching the back of his head he continues, "And I really don't want to leave our vessel here only to be found again or it being stolen. What shall we do you two?"

Mal stretched taking a breath of Fresh air before he sighed, oh don't worry i have a plan. Taping the buckled on his belt it began to pulsate. Crossing his arms he glanced up in time to see the spanish galian sized air ship move over head. 3 harpoons fired down from its bottem latching into the ground. The sound of motorized cranks sounded out as the ship lowered to the ground next to our ship. A wooden plank slide down and latched into the woodlands floor. Give me a hand Lad. He made his way on board of the ship and moved to a hatch in its floor boards and opened it. Dropping down into it he was face to face with what looked like a large metal ball engraved with strange pulsating white markings. Placing his hand onto the ball its rotation would stop and soon the ship its self began to deconstruct infront of Gal and Al eyes pulling back into the ball that was now floating as Mal touched it. Alright this should power your ship quite nicely don't ya thing Gal. He Grinned heading over to him to allow him and Al to have a closer look at this power source. If anything Gal might feel something familur about it though slightly diffrenet. " alright we have a power source but its gonna take time to intergrate it. I say why don't we get this installed and make our way to the village you see Gal and get some well deserved rest, and mabye some supplies?

Ayla had barely been able to process what was going on until the ship took off, at which point she held on so tightly that her knuckles were white. When they exited the ship, she fell to the ground, breathing heavily, obviously trying to keep herself from being sick. "I...hate...flying..." She said, looking a bit pale as she looked back up at them. When Mal brought their new power source, she seemed to grow paler. "So...we are flying again...I take it?" She asked, turning towards them and sitting down heavily, shaking her head a bit though standing slowly to get a closer look at the power source. "How long do we get to stay on the ground?"

The Woodlands were very lush and green. A shadow was gliding over the top canopy, and shadow belonging to yet another Elementian creation, a mechanical hawk with state of the art tracking and recon tech. The creatures scans indicated an Elementian life sign deep in the woods. When it came to the clearing where the Elementian and his compatriots were it landed in a tree about 20 ft from the two ships. The Hawk would then scan the vessels and relay information to the cruizer at the docks. After it scanned the ships it would then monitor the three friends to see what their new plan was.

The half-blood did as requested and assisted Malice, which when they brought the sphere to the ship he places his hand on the haul. A loud sequence of noises escaped the ships computer before opening the battery port, which then he and the Ork hoist the power source into place. The Morph as he liked to call it willfully accepted the sphere, connecting to it and the entire vessel lit up with intelligence afterwards. Galvery grinned and said, "Looks like you better save your food because you'll be having more reason to vomit soon enough." Chuckling afterwards he gestures to the ship and adds, "All aboard The Morph!" He'd wait till they all got back on the ship in the same sequence as before and then Malice would pilot them to the Village, which was modest at best with maybe twenty structures in all excluding the homes it did however possess a tiny port for space vessels. The Elementian would gesture for the port and say, "Land there Malice."

They were home free it would seem, however something bothered him, o O (Why were those mechanical creatures after me specifically.) Looking to the others he expressed his concern, "Why do you guys think those creatures and that woman thing were after me?"

After the sphere was installed he slipped into the pilot seat buckling up. The engines ignited with a roar of domiance before settling into a soft Purr. He smirked speaking aloud. Aye i think they are a match made in heaven don't ye Gal. The ship lifted off the woodland Surface and suddenly rocketed off toward the Village. Seeing the various buildings he notied the location pointed out by there Captian bringing the ship to land Gracefully upon that spot indicated. Mal flipped a few Switches and reached into one of his pouches tossing both Al and Gal a small red Gem. " listen up these will allow you to call for the ship at any time even without me if need arises. Unbuckling his belt he slipped from the seat and began checking over all the Gages to see if any problems where to be had

Looking over to Gal as he asked about those creatures and woman he thought rubbing his chin. Did you forget to pay your tab or something? I have no clue but they seemed to attack first without communication. So we no what ever reason they where after you isn't a good on.

Ayla groaned a bit as the ship lifted off again, causing her to tighten the seatbelt frantically before slumping back against her seat. Grabbing the edges of the seat tightly, she closed her eyes, gulping heavily as if fighting another urge to be sick, her complexion once again paled. Hearing Mal flip the switches, she opened her eyes, just in time to catch the gem, stowing it in a pocket after they had been told what it was for, just giving a nod before grabbing onto the seat again. "How much further?" She asked, gulping again.

When the ship leaves the Hawk slowly follows behind, monitoring the situation while relaying information back to the cruiser. The Hawk scanned ahead and saw there was a village, though the ship was faster than it, now that it knew where they were heading it didn't matter.

Galvery nods at Malice's response looking to Ayla with a mischievous and then says, "Release the hatch if you would please..." After the hatch is release Galvery would come fleetingly from the vessel like most youth, excited and full of life. The townsfolk paid little need to the small ship and its odd crew, however the half-blood paid mind to them as this had been the most peace he's had today. Stretching his muscles grow taunt and with the popping of his spine he chugs along to observe the small gathering of other vessels. His youth was evident in his ability to leave the other two far behind while still trying to hold a conversation, "Ya'll think they'll find us again?! I think we need to get some rest first and then we get supplies in the morning to get the nine hells off this planet!" Leaping with graceful ease onto a stack of wooden crates Galvery points forward to a taller building with an overhanging sign that says 'inn' saying, "Looks like as good of a place as any..."

Glancing around the small village he notice a few who ushered there kids behind them or made there way quicker then normal. It was a normal responce to Orcs of any linage in most civilization. It was something he was use to but still it tended to set him in a urked mood. Glancing to Gal show boat he sighed slipping on his gauntlets and fastening them in place. The Ship would suddenly close locking its self up. One of the main benefits to the Orb powering it is a type of intelegence that can operate the ship much like a A.I. just not of scientific birth. Glancing to the Inn he looked over to Al. And moved to her taking a metal clad finger and brushing some of her hair from her face." Sorry for the rough ride Lass. Ill try to be more gentle next time. He motioned to the same building Gal did with his Thumb and yawned. Works for me, but the big question is how much money do we have?

Ayla exited the ship as soon as she was able, stumbling over her own feet but recovering quickly though she then laid on the ground, grabbing handfuls of grass as if it calmed her. After a few moments, she stood, looking slightly pale like she had before. Nodding to herself, she decided that she would make it to their new destination. Jumping a bit as Mal brushed the hair from her face, she waved a hand. "We had to get out of..." She said, stopping and shaking her head. "Nope...not going to make it..." She said, stopping by a nearby tree, promptly getting sick behind it, only standing straight when she was convinced that it would not happen again (this reassurance came a few minutes later). Wiping her mouth on a scrap of what was her sleeve, she joined the other two somewhat unsteadily though seeming more confident in her ability to walk. "So...where are we going to?"

It was late in the evening, but the sun was still up. The wind was blowing, but not too bad to obstruct his shot. The Asset looked down the scope of his rifle and saw the Orc known as Malice, he position the cross hairs just above the Orcs head, and pulled the trigger. A bolt of plasma erupted from the rifle, "yeeehaaw" was yelled as The Asset hit his target dead on. The target, however was not the Orc, the the Elementian Hawk in the woods just behind the town. He would stand up from the crawling position he was in, leaning his rifle up against the fallen tree he was using as a stand. He brushed the dirt from his blue jeans, and picked up his jacket he had laid upon as to not get his white T-shirt dirty. He would then pick up his cowboy hat, brushing that off as well before placing it upon his head. Finally he adjusted his belt buckle, and picked up his rifle, leaning it against his shoulder, whilst still holding the handle incase he needed to use it quickly. The Asset then made his way to the trio, and when he got within ear range he would shout, not just to them but everyone that was still around, "Well I'll be that was one hell of a shot wasn't it folks, much better than anything John Wayne could do."
He would then pause for a second with a blank look on his face, as if he forgot something. After a minute he pulled out a device from his back pocket, and slide his thumb across it. The device would then make two loud bleeps, and then start humming, he slid it back in his pocket, and the humming stopped, and he continued his walk to meet the trio.

Lofting a brow the young half-blood observed the man approaching them; which, he moves to meet him halfway, leaping off the crates to do so. Though the man looked much like him he wouldn't know that the individual before him was simply an average human being, however in truth he didn't even know that he himself was an extraterrestrial human known as an Elementian. Tilting his head he thought, o O (Who's John Wayne?) Looking to Malice he reaches into his carrying pack Galvery pulls out a small coin pouch, offering it to the Orc and says, "Hopefully these Gold coins will be enough, though I'm not sure what kind of currency is used here." Looking to Ayla he ask, "Do you care to look around and see what supplies they might have and for gods sakes lets get some infernal food." The Elementian's stomach emits a load audible growl and rumbling, churning even and he gives her a sad puppy dog pleading face before meeting the man.

He was protective over his friends because after all they have all three been through hell together so he'd basically puff out like a young buck. Sizing the man up he ask, "What was that you shot and what do you want with us? We've had a very rough day and don't have patience for more surprises. State your name and business than we'll move from there stranger."

The shot made Malice immedatly hit the ground pulling from him a pistol he had kept and glanced around hearing the yeha. Blinking looking to the shrapenal of the mech bird falling over him he glanced up. Slowly lifting his self to his feet in time to catch the bag of gold. He merely blinked and lowered the gun. Moving to follow Gal he stayed close to the Lad. Bronze eyes focused upon the Cowboy hat. Wondering as well who the fuck is john wayne?

Ayla had just reached into one of her pockets as she heard the shot, hitting the ground much like Malice had, just now realizing that she had left her crossbow in the ship during her effort to exit quickly. Standing slowly, she stared at the newcomer oddly, the same thought in her head that everyone else had though she shrugged and reached into her pocket again, handing Mal a bag of gold coins as well though they would look slightly different than then ones Bael had given him. "I used some in town so they should work just as well here." She said, still eying the stranger watchfully.

The Asset looked at the coin purses being tossed to Mal. "What Is this give an Orc a coin purse day already and no one told me? " He said as he pulled a coin purse out of his jacket and tossed it to Mal. "You three have somehow managed to make the top of the bounty list, gold reward for each of you preferably alive, an I'm here to make sure that the bounty hunters fail, and in thge process kill some a nab the valuables. You three have every bounty hunter from here to Tucson after you. As for who I am, you can call me thge Asset, and this beautiful young thing on my shoulder is Betty. No need to introduce yourselves. There is Galvery, Malice and Ayla am I correct? As for what I shot, it was a spy drone that has been following you since the sewers, I know because I have been following you since the sewers. . Any more questions my friends." He then started to walk towards their docked ship to get a better gander.

Looking to Malice he ask, "What do you think Malice?" For the time being Galvery holsters his stave, which disconnects into two halves to do so much like Daredevil's own stave. He shrugs and adds, "Well we don't really have time to sit around and figure things out if he's telling the truth. We need to get what we need and be getting the Nine Hells out of here. I'll start by taking a look at our ship and see what I can do to make it more viable for space travel, because we can't stay on this planet any longer." Returning his gaze temporarily to the Earthling he says, "Your best bet would to be finding your own route because things have been beyond life threatening for us thus far and its only been twenty-four hours." Turning he moves to head back to The Morph and once reaching it he opens the cockpit and begins rummaging in it, pulling open a panel to see the ship's inner workings. Studying it he begins the tedious process of figuring out what is what and where things go.

He simply stared at the two talking back and forth until finaly he forced out a cough." Considering he opened fire on one of there Drones hes probably already involved some wat or another. Glancing to the cowboy, what Gal says about the danger is true. However judging by your actions i would think that doesn't bother you. A glance to gal and Al. I don't have a problem with him joining us. Just know if you betray us i would make my bread with your bones and use your skull as a piss cup get me?" This would probably be the first time any one had heard something this serious from the Orc. The words where dead calm with more of a matter of fact hint to them. Glancing he tossed Al the gold coins even the cowboys coin bag. Im going to readjust the engine, it felt a bit sluggish. He followed Gal inside and made his way into the Engine room where that strange sphere rotated in place. Placing his hands upon it the symbols began to tweek and rewrite as though wrighting a complex computer code for it to function

Ayla continued to watch the exchange, giving a shrug as Mal voiced his opinion on the matter, only looking somewhat surprised as he stated what would happen if the man betrayed them. Taking the coin purses and dropping them into her pockets, she looked at Gal and Mal. "So...lodgings or supplies first? Please say we are staying on the ground for at least a night..." She asked, not quite begging but moreso just avidly stating her desire to stay on the ground for a time.

The Asset looked straight into the Orcs eyes as Mal made that promise. "You have no reason to trust me, but you also don't have a reason not to. I don't fear death, so danger does not bother me." He then walked to the back of the ship, without entering and continued to talk. "I wouldn't stay here tonight. It won't be long till your faces are plastered all of this planet. I have a ship with rooms, you can take you ship there, and I can take you out of this sector and drop you were ever you want. I know what it is. Like to be lost and confused, not knowing what the hell is going on. I mean you guys can take your chances in this thing, but does it have weapons capabilities? I'll give you a few minutes to think it over." He then walked over to the nearest building and sat on the ground leaning up against it. While he was waiting he would pull a picture out of his pocket, and start talking to it softly.

Looking to Malice from the control panels he says, "I myself have issues with this guy, because why would someone willingly put themselves in this kind of danger for no reason? I know we all kinda met like that, but you guys kinda walked into it as he's vibrantly jumping into the fire. I'm just curious as to what he gets out of it and his true purpose. No one hunts down fugitives they don't know just to help them without pay." Retiring his attention to the panel he sighs, "Malice I have something I wish to talk to you about outside this horrible situation we are in an Ayla I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think we have no choice but to leaver her as quickly as possible, because the longer we stay the more danger we put ourselves in and this village." Sighing softly he looks to his gauntlet and speaks, "I left my home in Greyhawk to search for my father because my mother, grandfather and grandmother were all three slaughtered an eaten by Orcs. I know you are different and I've learned this, but I thought both of you deserved to know that with as much we've been through together." Concentrating his efforts into the Hand of the Oiad ki transfers to create enough mama as to procreate an electrical current that slithers around that hand, which he then attempts to hold that strength trying to train himself in the way of this weapon whiling working and talking.

Listening to everything Gal said he noded, i understand, you are the captian so its your call, im just a pilot. Studing a moment hearing Gal past he looked to his hands and clinched those gauntlets. To be honestly being diffrenet isn't exactly a good thing Lad. He gave a appologetic glance to Al and said, lets get some quick supplies. Walking into the hallway of the ship perhaps they might notice. Blood stained through his Aegis armor, Mal in some way or other was injured seaverly. And yet he pressed on. There was a secret truth behind this but for now it would remain hidden unless they followed him into a room where he removed his top part of his armor and revealed the hundrads of gashes along his back that arcs with his ki energy. Glancing to his Gauntlets and seeing them cracked he merely stared knowing he had nine months tops.

Ayla frowned a bit as the two spoke but nodded. "I understand I suppose...the faster we leave, the faster we can at least pretend that we are safe." Looking at Mal, her brows furrowed a bit. Perhaps trying to humor him, she faked a smile. "I think you are injured..." She said, still looking over him unsurely, her eyes a bit wide as he removed the top part of his armor. "I can try to heal you?" She said, still unsure as she had only healed minor injuries before but felt willing to try.

The Asset was still looking at the picture while everyone was inside the ship. After a few moments he slipped the picture in his pocket and pulled the device out of his back pocket, it was still humming. "Well the humming is good, still have time." He mumbled to himself. He then ran his finger over the center of the device in a clockwise motion. He stood up and walked to the trios ship leaving his gun leaning against the wall. "So what have the three musketeers decided? No one has found you guys yet so you are good on that part. I have to go get some supplies myself so if you want to join me Ayla we can get some stuff together." With that said he walked back over to the wall and leaned against it, waiting for her decision.

Sighing Galvery says, "He may tag along, but he is not one of us for he has not earned that right. We fight and we survive together, which means we act together and he has not seen combat as a collaborating group as we did." Gesturing to the ship the Elementian speaks to The Asset sternly, "We will travel on our ship, though it is not much it is ours. It's size makes for an obvious advantage and disadvantage, but it is an advantage I have confidence that Malice will capitalize with if the situation calls for it." Looking away he looks in the direction of the Market-City and rolls his shoulders, "I for some reason could read the alien writing on those creatures that chased us in the sewers. I wonder if that has anything to do with why we are chased or..." The half-blood looks to the human and ask, "Do you know why we hold a bounty over our heads and who it is that's after us?" The question was within reason as this man had to have some insight into what was going on I he knew who they were and that they were marked individuals.

Hearing Al panic he glanced to her and smiled shaking his head. For a second energy pulsed around his body and forced his white and red cells to work together in quickly celling the wounds. Slipping his armor back on he smiled. Its not safe for you to try, if may cause a back lash on you but thank you for the offer. He gave her a reasuring smiled before glancing to Gal and the Asset. Then it shall be done captian. His eyes didn't leave the man. if its alright with you Gal im gonna meditate while the suples are retrieved. I need the time to ....refuel my self. Patting Gal on the shoulder he made his way into the ship finding a empty cargo hold and sit in the middle of it crossing his legs and layiong his arms in his lap. His eyes closed and deep breaths where taken. Relaxation and then his eyes closed. He was perfectly still. A person would have to really examine just to see if he was breathing. Which he was just very slowly giving his body the full attention it needs to regain atleast its endurance.

Ayla shrugged as Mal spoke. "I said I would only be trying anyway, I am not even sure if it would work." She said, smiling a bit, going to retrieve her crossbow, putting a mixture of plain and exploding bolts into on of the quivers before leaving the ship again, not wanting to seem unarmed though she was sure that the Asset probably already knew about her other abilities as he already knew her name. Looking at Gal and Mal before eying where the Asset waited, she leaned towards them a bit, speaking in a hushed voice. "We will get some quick supplies. If he means to harm any of us, I am sure that having one of us alone is a better opportunity than having all three of us together."

The Asset looked at Gal, and Al while she whispered something to him. He figured it was about him, 'Hell I do come off a little strange' he thought to himself. "You guys can call me Calvin, that is my name. If it makes you feel any better I'll leave my weapons here hun."  He then kneeled down rolling up his right pan leg and pulled a knife out of its sheath and stabs it into the ground next to him. When he started to stand back up, a small vessel would fly over head and set down on the other side of Gal's vessel. "Don't worry that is only my ship, I will need to grab some supplies from there as well, as for your question I'll answer that when I get back." Calvin shouted back as he began walking to the nearest supply shop.

That would not do, because this stranger was about to walk off with one of his 'pack members', if you would and he'd reveal his distaste with that reply. He stood straight up, tense and rigid; which, then he'd make his way to intercept the two. His pace vastly greater than Alya and Calvin, turning in par to stand eye to eye or toe to toe with the man. Narrowing his gaze he says, "Sorry, but that reply will not suffice for you walk off with one of my friends and we just left a life or death situation. You WILL answer me or there WILL be trouble." It would seem his new position as a Captain of The Morph had already created that protective mind set with no fear in mind as he had his stave at ready, but in two halves and both in either hand in ready.

Looking slightly surprised as Gal intercepted them, Ayla looked down at her crossbow before looking back up at him, an eyebrow raised. Opening her mouth to speak, she closed it again to allow him to finish speaking first. "I am sure it will be fine, Gal. We are just getting a few supplies. If he tries anything, then..." She said, looking over Calvin briefly before looking back to Gal. "I'll just blow his head off." She said, shrugging indifferently.
