A Change Of Location Empty A Change Of Location

The dismal city in the distance was alive with the scum and rats that scurried about the streets during the day on the look out for the next big kill. The small fry kept to the safety of daylight whilst hiding away once the sunset in order to avoid the lions that came to pray. Even from her location, the market's filth could lightly be smelled and yet it was the perfect location. A easy feast of kings lay before her, endless alleys twisting this way and that to prowl if she needed too. Yes, she was quite accommodated here and the new abode suited her just fine in every fancy. Her new found frenemy had made sure her every need and desire would be met and she would be sure to keep her end of their interesting bargain. With that thought a slender finger traced along the base of her ivory throat and ran across the outline of now scarcely visible bruises. Small goose bumps rose across her arms and a shiver of delight spasmed across the woman's body.

Ailshyia stood lovely and proud out on the balcony of her new room, a tray of wine and cheeses had been placed upon a table to her right. She no longer needed to wear her gloves and she was thrilled to once again be able to wear the outfits that fit her best. The stunning princess was draped in a long red dress that hugged snug upon her bosom and waist, then cascaded across her legs from a high slit from the top of her left thigh. The straps hung about her upper arm rather than off her shoulders. She was bare foot, as she preferred not to wear footwear unless she had too. To Ailsh, the most skin she could expose the better, while still covering enough to keep the mind to wonder. The woman had always been extremely confident and comfortable in her own skin.

Her mind wandered to other places now. Despite their promises that none would know, she knew Mesiphidon would have told his wife right now of their meeting, but in her thoughts it was more interesting to sort through the details that he might not tell Es. The excerion leaned forward to rest her elbows on the balcony railing and swirl her wine glass while she schmoozed over the ideas. She, on the other hand, was a woman of her word and had no intention of directly telling Mathias anything, because she knew he was a very smart man. He would have figured it all out with just a glance when she came back to marks across her neck.

Now that she pondered it, where was her wondrous host today? Ailshyia spun on her heels and put her back to the bar as she peered into the house. His presence had been lacking lately, most likely due to business and the such, not that the woman really minded. In his absence the service and guests to the house had all doted upon her, completely enthralled by her endless beauty and grace. Ailsh smirked, for she did not see a single being in this universe as worthy of actually being called a rival in any sort. No matter where she went she was always looked upon with the greatest of envies and desires, but let them all stare, she cared on. Not she only interested in meeting her own goals and the attention of what she wanted. The rest... were just potential meals.

A Change Of Location Empty Re: A Change Of Location

The door hadn’t opened or closed to give away his arrival. Not that he would have exactly walked through the hall ways of the Hotel to announce himself or his connection to the woman standing before him. Dressed as usual in his well fit white clothes. The knee length Peacoat was different than the usual short one. It was easier to hide the strange hilts on his belt under the coat that way. Giving the woman a once over, a slow roaming once over. He did appreciate the beauty of the female form. And Ailshyia chose to display hers quite a bit. Still despite the pleasant view he shook his head and sighed.

”Regardless of rather or not he knows you are here now, I’d rather not throw up a giant beacon announcing our presence to the world. You’ve made it exceedingly more difficult for me to establish contact with you now.” It seemed the white haired former Empress-to-be wasn’t quite up to date on what laying low meant. Still he could manage to turn it to his advantage, in the very least he would be able to move around with less notice if she was about turning heads.

Taking the liberty of taking a seat in the large overstuffed chair Mathias settled back, legs crossed and hands over the arms. His inky black eyes regarding the woman for several moments as he decided what and how much to tell her. ”There are a few families here that are the real authority behind everything. I’ll need to… make a few acquaintances and help a few others return home before we can do much more. And I won’t risk compromising my operations in Novus Orsa.”

Really he had to adjust his plans again now, he hadn’t expected her presence to be known so quickly. It caused complications but nothing he couldn’t handle. ”There is no hope telling you to keep your head down now. But at least try to keep to yourself, and not cause any scenes. We don’t need the whole hotel worshipping you and drawing attention to us. Subtlety is an art form, at least try to practice it.” His chiding tone was almost like a father scolding a daughter. But he was concerned she might bring down far more heat than they could handle right now. The last thing he wanted was the eye of the Imperium on him.

The commotion previously with some battle and off world ships certainly had him keeping to the shadows. Especially given the rumors one of the Primoris had shown up. That had been a near miss, after all coming here was for the purpose of moving to what many considered just beyond the reach of the Imperium on this planet. A neutral zone, but if the Imperium’s eyes were here it meant they considered this place theirs. Then again Celesin considered the whole of everything theirs.

Coming out of his thoughts he looked to her. ”I have a meeting with the Patron today. It seems he has a knack for visiting all the well-to-do’s that come to his City. He should be here shortly, try not to send the man’s head too far from business for me.” His head tilted causing the white hair to shift as he looked to her with the request.

Ailshyia wasn't in the mood for the first thing to come out of Mathias' mouth to be more scolding when he appeared in her view. She was performing her task accordingly, yet it seemed it wasn't to his satisfaction, which made it harder to figure out what he actually wanted. The woman folded her arms tightly over her breast and moved forward into the room, wearily rolling her eyes at her agitated companion.

"I'm committing fully to my half of our bargain, and if there's a certain way you wish for me to proceed with it then you need to make note of it. If not, then I am going to proceed how I see fit." She pressed her hand to her cheek and shook her head. "I thought the point of coming here was so I could move a bit more freely? I have not left the hotel with a scarf but I have moved about the grounds a bit with my face showing." She shrugged. "The staff spoil me, follow my every request and tell me just about anything so it suites my fancy quite nicely." Her eyes followed him as he moved to a more comfortable position, all the while wondering if he planned to do nothing but always keep her in the dark. Ailsh took a few steps towards him till she directly directly at his feet, peering down at him intently.

"I do not ask that you compromise anything... I'm having difficulty understanding how you wish to make use of my capabilities if you intend to keep me locked away. My greatest asset is to make men and women alike fall to their knees together in the name of a common goal, pleasing me. If you're trying to form alliances, then I dare say I can't figure out why you leave me behind." The beauty settled herself neatly onto the ottoman since Mathias hadn't felt the need to put his feet up on it. Truth be told, the excerion was having difficulty adjusting back to a busy lifestyle right now. She had spent so many years away and in solitude that the busy life of the city made her ears hum and gave her a headache. She rested her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands, closing her eyes.

"I promise I have no intentions of making anyone worship me. I've kept myself specifically to the staff and have only drawn the attention of the members I've need. I'll admit that I've very obviously never been good at being subtle." Ailshyia inhaled deep and then an exasperated sigh fell from her silky red lips. "I love him so much...it physically hurts. I know I have to get him back or else I intend to die trying." Her eyes fluttered back open at the sound of banging on the door, such perfect timing considering Mathias had just made mention of a meeting.

"I promise not to do anything else I have to." Was her only response to her dearest frenemy before scurrying to the door in order to not keep their guest waiting. Her long elegant legs took lengthy strides until she came to a stop just at the thresh hold. Lithe fingers curled around the door handle and she pulled it open to reveal a most peculiar looking man. Ailsh winced at the sight of him, she had definitely not been prepared for dealing with the cybernetic kind. The woman glanced at Mathias out of the corner of her eyes when their guest made remarks of them needing to travel to the patron's location. "I'll grab a scarf and shoes."

She scurried to a near by set of drawers and pulled out a black silk scarf which she quickly draped over her head so it hung loosely around her face. For shoes she chose a simple pair of strappy black scandals and then positioned herself once more at Mathias' side. "I'll follow you." Ailshyia spoke softly, looking to him to lead. When and if he rose she would move to hold onto his arm if he would allow it. In the presents of beings who did not possess hormones, let alone much as far as emotions, it helped her to feel more assured. "And remind me to show you my new pet later." She smirked slyly.
