Baelstrom Webbs has challenged Sune'ere Dra'sen for A Class Rank 5.  The standard rules apply, three day post limit. The challenger has been summoned to the Amphitheater first. Once both participants have arrived combat begins immediately.

The cross dimensional coliseum would be met with an accumulation of false nimbus clouds black with malice and producing claps of thunder as well bolts of lightning. A force of negativity would descend upon the arena as a torrent of ghoulish green energy takes the form of a funnel, growing larger and more powerful by the second till the raging storm of condemned souls would plow into the heart of the structure with incredible force. Indeed it was a flashy entrance, but not unlike the one the Soulnado transports. With a crack of thunder an a lightning bolt to match the storm would reseed into the heavens, vanishing just as mysteriously as it had appeared. Where the Soulnado had struck the ground with fifty feet of it had been consecrated with intense hatred an evil, standing is a cloaked figure an also the Lich King himself.

Fully adorned in his usual attire the creature would step forward where he would let out a yawn and then look to the watch at his wrist saying, “The bastard better not be late. I have better things to do with my time.” Whirling his scepter about he grips it in both hands, white knuckling it and then would seat himself on a neighboring stand after with that signature swagger of his make way. Crossing one leg over the other he observes the area boredly, taking in the impressiveness as if it were yesterdays news. The cloaked figure in the meantime would seat itself higher up, closing in on the VIP seating though never speaking a word in the process.

Sune'ere was transported there mere seconds after the soulnado had transported his opponent and company into the fighting arena. Just enough time to watch his opponent depart the cloaked figure and comment on him not being late. He would watch the lich move towards the arena stands and while the other was immobile he would call out. "You challenge me and then walk away from your opponent." He spit on the ground. "Coward." He was grinning as he waited to see the response from the other one. His opponent stood at his full height, cloaked in his white cloak that clasped around his neck, using his old badge in Nexxian as the clasp for the cloak. A reminder to him never to forget what he'd gone through to get where he was. The hood of the cloak was pulled down to reveal the white haired son of Mesiphidon. Sculpted factial features were only lightly hidden behind a short cut beard. The naturally blue eye's were already beginning to gain some ethereal luminosity at his own displeasure.

He tucked his into his arm pits and flicked a switch along his revolvers to begin their charging. His entire forearms were coated in thin metal gauntlets, gems attached to the palms of them with intricate silver linings running through the whole of them. These were certainly not Celesin standard issue weapons that he used, there was something all too human in the design which ran parallel to every vein in that part of his body. With the cloak spread out and raised it was easy to see that this man was practically a walking armory from the very front. Black boots upon the arenas ground, and upon his right leg was a sawed off shotgun that covered his upper thigh. On the opposite hip hung a secondary pair of gauntlets. Beneath each armpit was a shoulder holster designed for a revolver. Moving his hands he would untie his secondary pair of gauntlets and let them fall to the ground with a clank, moving them in front of his feet.

"Well c'mon challenger. Your move."

Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded] Empty Re: Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded]

The Lich King would look from the hooded figure to his opponent canting his head, which then a hollow breath would be exhaled from that creature of shroud. The drow would nod and then stand draw from his side a rapier that seems to weep blood from its mithril, spewing it as if some vital artery had been struck. With that the dark elf would approach the other man, whom obviously was much larger than he and stand before him looking up into his face. That signature mischievous grin was plastered om his face and he says, “I believe I know you in some fashion or other, but your name means nothing in comparison to what you may taste like.” In his opposing hand he’d hold tight to his scepter and then would begin to stride backwards slowly, which after about twenty feet hed stop to eye his opponent.

Rolling his shoulders he'd stand ready and then says, “Ready when you are…bitch.” In the meantime the figure shrouded in mystery sat atop in the VIP section as if it were the king of England , staring down upon the two as negative energy is exhaled from the hood.

Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded] Empty Re: Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded]

Sune'ere watched as the figure drew closer to him, unsheathing his weapon as the mithril rapier bled along the air and keeping his eye's upon the scepter. This was quite the approach, confident in it's own abilities to take him down, and yet whatever else had come with had left for the stands. Impressive that something would choose to simply watch, instead of taking the numbers advantage over him. His eye's burned the color of hoarfrost as this thing approached him, he would turn his body so that the sides of his right food rested just near the gauntlets he'd dropped on the ground. As it began talking it walked closer to him, closing distance in feet from the initial and finally near ten feet as this thing mentioned his name Sune'ere would act while the being was still trying to monologue like some idiot manga villain.

Activating his Force Projection Field he would simultaneously kick both gauntlets as hard as he could at the rapier holding creature. His body cascade having previously been activated to up his reaction speed and hand eye coordination, at the same moment he was unholstering both of his new revolvers. While his opponent was distracted by the incoming gauntlets Sune would let loose two shots from his weapons. Unlike previous fights he had modified his revolvers now to function off of a miniaturized magnetic propulsion system, commonly known as a rail gun. This meant that the metal shot forth would actually be traveling at velocities exponentially greater than what a normal powder propelled bullet could ever achieve. One gun had been pointed directly at this things center of mass, while the other was aimed over at it's right, meaning that a dodge in that direction would surely strike it. However the secondary gun had other intentions, truthfully he was shooting at the VIP chambers where the other body had moved too. Both bullets were not just massively accelerated pieces of metal, they were magically runed. When striking a target they would explode with a force equivalent to being struck by a speeding train. Focused upon the place where they met with resistance, this would normally cause things to not only be flung backwards, but with the nature of those high speed projectiles, the force behind them would tear clean through most things, causing massive gaping holes. Or in the case of the VIP section, collapsing the whole of it upon itself.

However that wasn't all that was going on, the gauntlets which had been kicked were now animated in mid-air, hands opening up, they would go to clamp upon his opponents shoulders and not only hold him there, but using them as a focal point Sune would sacrifice a portion of his core energy to charge the static reality around the gauntlets. Rapidly freezing the air and where he gripped to cause two pillars of ice to spring up from the ground around his opponent. Hopefully encasing his arms there and grounding them to the arenas floor, he would be quite immobile just as the guns were fired, unless he dodged that. Of course dodging the gauntlets would give Sune time to readjust his aim. But if he was stationary there would be no resisting the massive slaughter that would come. Arms stationary and locked in place while the body was flung backwards. Not only dislodging arm sockets, but brutally ripping the limbs off. There was a time to talk and taunt. His opponent would learn a harsh lesson today, that it was much better to shut up and put up, instead of trying to taunt your opponent.

Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded] Empty Re: Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded]

The Lich King knew better than what the other might think and he would find this out himself, which once the first projectile rings with a thunderous sound there was soon a secondary eruption from the other apparent railgun revolver. Both merit the creature’s attention before him and while the second meets the structure an as predicted caused the VIP section to crumble with it's might. The first however would not meet a successful fate or at least what the other might perceive so, because it along with the gauntlets are met with an intangible force. Three rings on his right hand flash with a blue hue that signifies the magic is spent, which activates their enchantment. The force would radiate out from all around him in one metaphysical and physical repellent, seemingly invisible to the naked or at least those that are not keen to such things.

For those that are they would see a literal explosion of magical substance erupt around him within two meters. The gauntlets however might not make it so far off as soon once or if they are blown back just far enough they be met by a sizzling blade of intensely concentrated malice. That figure that was in the VIP section had manage to escape the destruction before real damage could be done to it an in its right hand gripped that very weapon. The Oblivion Blade. The actual blade part where metal should meet steel is an intense blackness forged of extremely powerful negative energy, while the handle, guard and rest of it looks of some obsidian metal and some decorative gems or what could be considered such. The blade would mean to slice through both gauntlets at the mid point, which is was almost a certainty that the blade was capable unless by some unforeseen reason it can not.

The Baelstrom before would dash to the side with speed unlike himself, moving too fast for the human eye to pick up he’d push off the ground where stone is then crushed into gravel and he’d catapult himself like a missile. He’d also sling his rapier like a throwing knife as the young warrior so he’d force him to initially dodge, which would hopefully leave him opened for a secondary attack. Point his scepter at him he’d aim an unleash a black ray upon Sune, which if it makes contact he’d come under the affects of Avasculate. In the meantime the cloaked figure would stand adjacent with some distance between it and the others with a hand drawn out. Inaudible translation would escape in bellowing vapors of negativity as power would collect in the entities’ palm.

Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded] Empty Re: Baelstrom Webbs vs Sune'ere Dra'sen [Class A, Ranked] [Concluded]

Sune'ere was keen to magic, and all it's uses, the blazing eye's filled with his core's energy were symbol enough of that. However the very shield that the figure had erected of magical energies would be forced to deal with the time lag between each attack. Since it was activated in time to repel the gauntlets it may be fading as the rail slug struck at it. That was fine, unless he kept the whole metaphysical shield up throughout all of it he would have to deal with the magical effect from the slug still. The charged bullet releasing it's payload millimeters past where the delivery method had met resistance. This meant it would most likely get past the shielding to actually strike at the cloaked figure, and blow it backwards towards the edge of the arena, a shield that could block everything could only last a fraction of an instant not for the time it would take for Sune to fire after the gauntlets had been blocked.

Speaking of the gauntlets, they had still initiated their casting, causing two ice pillars to spring up to the edges of the cloaked figure, encasing the gauntlets in glacier hard ice. As the other figure teleported in and swung it's blade considering that they were within Sune's Force Projection field, he was not only aware of how the magics warped space-time, but also gave him a heads up that something else was coming. Even if it was just a fraction of a second, he would once more force his core into action, utilizing his second preferred element of heat, with water as a primary it would cost little from his core to immediately enact his next action, to explode the two ice pillars outwards, the fire from the gauntlets sudden and hot like a bomb going off would cause the pillars to not only explode but to vaporizing at high speeds. The recoil sending the gauntlets back to him, while the Oblivion blade was slicing through the ice to get to them. If it was truly made of negative energy, the kind that was anathema to life, well the blade would do nothing to immaterial things. If those gauntlets had been on Sune'ere's hands it might of been a different story, but they weren't they were remote controlled in a way.

The immediate area around both targets was covered in flesh boiling steam that would cause third degree burns in the span of a second. Sune'ere however was no slouch on his defense. He didn't need his eye's with his force projection field up, and as the Rapier came spinning into strike at him the left gauntlet would travel in front of him and smack it away, with a force effect much like his bullets. The power in it was minimal in comparison, but it would be enough to send a light weapon like a rapier hurtling towards the edge of the arena and off into oblivion. With the scepter being aimed at him to strike Sune would move the right hand Gauntlet to block with an open palm. The beam of black energy striking its effect upon the unliving metal. The effect of the spell effectively blocked.

Now it was his oppertunity to fight, with his opponents doing whatever they did, one charging and the other banking on the ray from his scepter making contact with Sune's body, he would prove his genius as a marksman and once more let off two simultaneous rail slugs at either target. At the being which had was charging he would release an ice slug at his feet. Once striking the ground not only would the sudden impact dislodge ground and unsteady and possibly interrupt his casting as he was temporarily off balance, but the ground for five feet would begin to freeze and rise up in another pillar of ice, essentially encasing him. The one which was not charging up an attack however would still have a bullet to deal with. If it was still moving off to the side Sune would of predicted where it would be, essentially aiming ahead of where he was moving too. Even at speeds that could fool the eye, it might not be a match for a rail slug moving at hyper sonic speeds. If it struck the not charging target, it would have a radically different effect from the other strike, upon dissipation it call forth a miniature twister, to send him spiraling around and thrown towards the pits edge and off into oblivion much like the rapier before him.

Sune had yet to budge an inch, only using the weapons he'd brought with him to act as mobile shields against any ranged attack made at him. These things would need to get closer if they wanted to really do any damage to the Prince. He was a master of keeping enemies at range, and his reaction time was second to none.

Sune'ere had no defenses leveled against him, the steam would boil whatever flesh his opponents had on them from their body, and while they were moving quickly that flash fry from the steam would surely slow them down in pain. The rapier now knocked out of the arena with no one to stop it, and the spell blocked successfully, it was surprising to see an opponent so predictable actually take the full brunt of his strikes from his guns.

The one who was charging up a spell would now be encased in a block of ice so cold that it would cause a kind of cryogenic stasis. Once thawed they should be okay, but for now without assistance from the other or internal powers working to melt the ice, they were effectively stopped. The twister bullet which struck the other one would as predicted aim to throw him out of the arena much like the Rapier before him. As the being was now airborne and careening off the edge, Sune would rush towards the edge, and keep his weapons aimed at the falling man. Should he attempt to come back through normal or magical means he would find Sune ready to fire at him and keep him down.
